Diese Bild wurde 1981 in Ägypten aufgenommen.
Ich war damals noch Student und bin 4 Wochen durch Ägypten gereist. Das Bild entsand,nachdem ich auf der Cheops Pyramide war (!), was damals noch geduldet wurde, und ein Kamel Führer mich für einen Kamelritt überreden wollte, was ich ablehnte. Er gab mir aber seine Kopfbedeckung und knipste das Foto für mich.
Kein Wunder, dass "Lawrence of Arabia" einer meiner beiden Lieblingsfilme ist ;-))
This picture was taken in Egypt in 1981.
At that time I used to be a student and traveled for 4 weeks through Egypt. The pic itself was shot shortly after I climbed the Cheops Pyramid (!) which was still possible at that time. A camel driver offered me a ride which I refused. But he handed me over his head cloth and took the picture with me.
No wonder that "Lawrence of Arabia" is one of my all time favourites ;-))
Diese Bilder stammen alle von unserem Uralub in Namibia 2000.
Das war unsere erste gemeinsame Reise und alles verlief problemlos, bis auf die leidvollen Schwierigkeiten mit meiner ersten Digital Kamera. 80 Bilder sind gelöscht worden, da die Speicherkarte nicht richtig funktionierte. Aber das Land Namibia ist mehr als eine Reise wert......
These pictures were taken during our vaccation in Namibia in 2000.
This was actually our first long trip together and everything went fine besides some very painful experiences with my first digital camera. The flash card was broken and some 80 images have been deleted. But the country itself is worth just more than one journey only......
